Description

Seal Guard is a very high-grade adhesion promoting primer used to improve the adhesion of a variety of sealants. The product is extremely well suited to use on porous materials and most other surfaces.

Seal Guard is specially developed to give a variety of sealants perfect adhesion to difficult surfaces such (natural) stone, ceramics, concrete, cement, wood, metal, plastics, etc. In addition, the product is suited to applications involving moisture exposure.

Seal Guard is packaged in a handy recloseable tin. The product can be used with a brush, cloth or spray gun, to obtain the best possible output.

Seal Guard is part of the Innotec joint and sealant system. In combination with Innotec Back Fill Foam, Easy Seal XS and Seal Fluid, this system is the solution for seams and joints subject to heavy stress.

Instructions for use

  • Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Clean surfaces with Innotec Multisol or Innotec Seal and Bond Remover. Clean plastic surfaces with Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic.
  • Application method: Apply to the surfaces to be stuck together using an Applicator, a clean brush or a non-fluffy cloth. Apply Seal Guard in a thin, even layer to the area where the sealant is applied. Remove any Seal Guard from outside the working area immediately with Innotec Multisol to prevent the edge from becoming marked and yellowing.
