Clear Bond

Description

Clear Bond is an absolutely clear instant glue for quick repairing and gluing of almost all types of modern plastic, rubber, wood and also metals. Due to its unique thixotropic character, the product can be applied very precisely, even on vertical surfaces. After application, Clear Bond is extremely transparent.

Used in combination with Innotec Acti-Prim, this cyanoacrylate adhesive based on modern technology can be applied to an extremely broad range of substrates, including even polyethylene and polypropylene. The curing of Clear Bond can be accelerated by using Innotec Acti-Prim or also Quick Bond Activator.

In the Automotive and Industry sectors, plastic supports, hooks, clips, bolts, and so on break off on a regular basis. Use Clear Bond to make a perfect repair. If the bond is to be placed under heavy load and the unique transparent nature of Clear Bond is less important, it is possible to reinforce the bond with Topfix or Repaplast Repair and use Clear Bond as a fixer.

As the combination of Clear Bond and Acti-Prim is perfectly transparent, no fracture line is visible. This means that the product is ideal for gluing plastic rear lights, indicators, flashing lights, PMMA panels, displays, etc.

Packaged in a handy 10 g bottle with metering cap, Clear Bond is easy to use and can be dosed accurately.

Instructions for use

• Surface preparation: The surface must be clean, dry and free of grease. Roughen up or sand the surface. Clean metal surfaces with Innotec Multisol or Innotec Seal and Bond Remover. Clean plastic surfaces with Innotec Repaplast Cleaner Antistatic and pre-treat them with Innotec Repaplast Primer.
• Application method: Because of its high viscosity and thixotropic character Clear Bond should be shaken well before use. Then apply a thin layer of Clear Bond directly from the bottle on one of the parts to be glued and join the parts together.
